First, a rant.
April of '07, we were in the Smokies. Some people from Westgate Timeshare talked us into seeing their timeshare. (Basically, we were bribed with Dollywood tickets) So, we go. No way are we buying a timeshare, but we DID buy a 1 week vacation with them. It was a little pricey...$800 plus interest every month for making payments on the $800...but we reasoned that they had a HUGE indoor waterpark, so we could skip Dollywood that year and just let the kids utilize the waterpark. (Dollywood would be like $250) First, we were told it would be a 1 bedroom unit. Then, later we were told it was a smaller unit, similar to a hotel room. ok, fine.Ok, so we had the option of paying it off and using it at any time. We were going to pay it off last year and use it...I called months in advance. Nope, we're full. I called today to book for Oct. He tells me that since my youngest is now 4, he can't sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor, and we have to pay $200 to upgrade to a 1br. NO! I paid $800 to stay here, and I want my room!He said the one we bought only sleeps 4 and he can't sleep there. I HAVE to upgrade, or not check in basically. Well, the 1 BR says it only sleeps 4 too! AND I can stay at any freaking hotel in the Smokies and he can sleep on the floor. So, he keeps on and on...FINE...I want my money back....Well, it's non-refundable. Of course it is. I am so furious. I just called for the corporate office and I am waiting for someone to call me back. I feel scammed. I asked them if there would be a problem with him sleeping on the floor when I bought the thing...nope. Not a problem. He keeps telling me the contract SAYS the room only sleeps 4. So does the thing for a 1 bedroom, so why do I HAVE to upgrade? If someone wants you to buy from them....DON'T.

On to other things. I have a friend who's house burned last week. He, his wife and their oldest son went to Red Robin. The son mentioned to the waitress that he wasn't in school because their house burned. The manager came over a little while later, gave them their meal for free, and gave them Red Robin gift cards. He also said he would be calling corporate to see what they could do for them. He said it was policy to help in such situations. I am really impressed by this company. I don't have one nearby, but I want you all to know so that you can give them your business because they deserve it.

Walgreens has some great deals this week.
If you spend $25 in certain items, you get a $10 Register Reward. Some of those items are Huggies Diapers. Coupons.com and Couponbug.com both had $5 off coupons. This makes for cheap diapers! There are also coupons here: http://www.redplum.com/pages/Grocery.aspx Some people who don't need diapers are still getting the large $6 wipes with the coupons..2 packs, and 2 packs of Scott Tissue, using $1 coupons on the Scott, paying $14 out of pocket and getting $10 back. That's a good deal, too and wipes can be used for many things.
Also, Glade Sense and Spray and Glade Lasting Impressions are $7.99. There are $4 off coupons in the easysaver books, and there were $4 coupons in an insert at the beginning of Feb. There is also a $4 off Sense and Spray in the March issue of All You. This will make them free. If you printed off some of the BOGOF coupons from Glade.com (I believe they are gone now) then you can make money on them. Buy 4, use 2 BOGOF and 2 $4 coupons. The $4 coupons are for the ones you buy, and the other 2 are free. Be sure to buy something to take up the overage. Diapers, maybe?
Garnier Shampoo, conditioners and stylers are $2.99, and there is a $2 coupon in the easy saver book. There are also $1 coupons in the inserts, making them free. You can also get a free workout towel by buying 2 on one receipt. send an original receipt showing the purchase of two or more Garnier products, your name, address and phone number to:

Colgate Total is $3.49, with a $2.50 coupon in the easysaver book, and $1 internet coupon here: http://offers.e-centives.com/siflo/reg/survey.cfm?s=Yz0xJmY9MSZjdT0xJmJxPTEmdmlkPTUyOCZvPTE4MTU0MTYmcD00NjEmcHQ9NiZjbz0zMjcmZndlYj0xJnNjPTMyNyZyVVJMPSUyRnNpZmxvJTJGcG9zdHJlZ2lzdGVyJTJFY2ZtJTNGdmlkJTNENTI4JTI2dCUzRDYlMjZzJTNEMTAzNjE5MjExMCUyNm1iJTNENTMyNCUyNmZ3ZWIlM0QxJTI2Y28lM0QzMjclMjZzYyUzRDMyNyUyNmlkJTNEOGZhN2U5MzAlMkQ5ODI4JTJENDQ3OCUyRDk5MzglMkQ3YzJkMmFhMzNhMzQmcz0xMDM2MTkyMTEwJm1iPTUzMjQmaWQ9OGZhN2U5MzAtOTgyOC00NDc4LTk5MzgtN2MyZDJhYTMzYTM0
If you buy a Irish Spring Body wash ($4.49, I think) coupons are printing after purchase for free ones.
Right Guard is $2.99, get a $2 RR
Coffeemate is BOGOF at $2.49. Use coupon here: http://www.coffee-mate.com/getyourcoupon/default.aspx?source=10078462 to get 2 for 99 cents. You can try to use 2, but they may not take them since the second one if free. WG rings up as the second one free, not 1/2 price each like Kroger.
The Sambucol deal is still going. There are also $3 coupons in some of the boxes if your WG gives you trouble with internet coupons.
Fusion Gamer razors are $8.99 with a $4 rr...use the $4 coupon from P&G inserts to get them for 99 cents after RR
Remember...if you use a RR to pay for a transaction, you may not get another RR if they are from the same company (P&G to P&G). Keep an eye out. There should be no problems if they are from differing companies. (P&G to SCJohnson)
Always give your manufacturers coupons first, and your easysaver coupons last. I just set them on the counter in that order.
